HOW WE GOT STARTED
I started out planning events for friends and family about 5 years ago. It wasn’t until COVID hit when i began making balloon arbors and diaper cakes.
My daughters first birthday was Mother’s Day weekend 2020. Everything was shut down and we couldn’t have a party so I decided to create my own smash cake photo session. I paid a neighborhood baker to make a small cake, I spent 6 hours blowing up balloons by mouth and covered our walls and carpet with plastic tablecloths. I snapped a few pictures and asked on our neighborhood Facebook page if anyone would want the balloon arbor for a Mothers Day surprise. And the rest is history! Almost immediately my inbox was filling up with requests for balloons.
Rayna Jaymes Arbor Designs is a small family owned business. We are local to Southern Pines area and can travel all over North Carolina.
What I love the most about our business isn’t necessarily the balloons, the event planning or the diaper cakes… it’s the people I meet and the stories they share with me. I have cried, I have laughed and I’ve also been left alone to just create. That is what drives me to do my best!
